I frequently meet people who have a desire to help our brothers and sisters in Guatemala to offer hope where there seems to be none and most importantly, to share God's love and salvation. Each time I speak to someone about what God is doing, I hear God asking, "Why don't y'all just do a little coordination of your efforts and see what happens?" (Y'all didn't know God was from Alabama did you?) There is so much work being done in Guatemala, it just seems to me that if we know each other and know what each other is doing, we can really make a bigger difference. Let me know what you think and if you are willing to participate in an effort such as this. As we share with others who have a heart for Guatemala, we can build a network which could conceivably have a greater impact on the poverty and destitution in that beautiful place. Missions Stories
Lunchtime Devotionals When you go to lunch each day, what do you look forward to the most? Is it the food? Is it sitting with your friends and talking about the day? Is it getting a chance to just have some time to yourself?
Well, for many of the Hispanics living and working your county, lunchtime is a time to talk about Jesus and to share the hope that they have in Him. Thanks to the efforts of the Southeast Alabama Hispanic Mission Coalition, what would normally be a time to eat and visit has become a time to grow and share the Gospel.
