Our Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative, Word of God.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.

We believe the salvation of lost, sinful man and his regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose indwelling presence in the Christian enables him/her to live a Godly life.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost when Christ returns for His church. Those who are saved will be resurrected to life; those who are lost will be resurrected to damnation.

What can you do in local Hispanic ministry?

Missions. When you think of this word, what comes to mind? Is it a trip to an exotic location with people so poor that they can't afford decent food or new clothes? Or is it a visit to a place where the living conditions are so bad that you sometimes wonder how they can stand to live there?

Missions are defined as people reaching out to other people with the Gospel and, as Acts 1:8 says, this outreach is to occur in Jerusalem (your neighborhood), Judea (within Alabama), Samaria (within the United States), and to the ends of the earth (everywhere else).
